The 4 star Inn is situated in the heart of the medieval village of Obidos within the castle walls. There are twenty rooms all with private bathroom; air conditioning; television; telephone and mini bar plus a welcoming sitting room where one can relax with a delicious typical drink of our village-ginjinha de Obidos. For meetings or talks we have a conference room with the capacity for sixty people seated with Internet available. Obidos is situated in a privileged area of the country within a short distance to various points of interest. For this reason we are visited by citizens of all nationalities since staying at our unit means being close to numerous historical localities whilst being able to take pleasure in a vast variety of possibilities to occupy your free time. Besides the contact with nature many people choose our inn as the ideal place to rest from their visits to numerous historical monuments in our region such as the Monastery of Alcobaca; the Monastery of Batalha; the actual Village of Obidos all of which are part of the seven wonders of Portugal; the Fort of Peniche and various convents and churches among others. Between these visits you can always appreciate the various typical dishes of our region accompanied by one of the wonderful nectars of the gods produced in our region. Our guests are allowed to park inside the walls of Obidos. Additional Information; Children age 5 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult. The hotel reserves the right to without prior notification cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.

Directions

LIS-Lisbon:

From Lisbon take the A8 highway and exit at the sign for Obidos. Approximately 90km distance. The West railway line has a train station in Obidos. The trip takes about 1h 20min from Lisbon. There are regular bus services connecting Lisbon directly to Obidos.

Oporto:

From Oporto take the A1 highway and go as far as Leiria where you take route A8 until Obidos. Approximately 245 km distance.
